The world and its story

The world is in an evolving process of profound change, moving through deep processes of transformation. It carries a complex story — one of oppression through colonialism, and, at the same time, of multiple civilizations expressing their greatness through knowledge and art. The world is no longer what it was — it is becoming. It is in-between. Within this movement of in-between individuals, organizations and community all have their momentum of change, reimagining who they can become.

Creating a Natural State of Learning
With all this complexity and disruption comes a natural state of learning — caused by a continual shift in perception, created by the constant stream of information we receive from each other, from media, and, for the very intuitive, simply a feeling of "change" in the world. The world is currently in its optimal state of learning, ready for something new. Old structures and belief systems built on coloniality no longer serve the needs of individuals and communities — they are ready to give way to new ideas and models of living and learning.

It is in this in-between that Limitless Learning Lab was born.

A Few Words from the Founder

My story begins with a name — Ymasumac, from my father's Quechua Indigenous roots in Bolivia. My mother's ancestors were among the early Pilgrims of New England. I grew up in a small Mayan community in the Yucatán Peninsula, Mexico — sitting at the nexus of these ancestries, strengthening my relationship with my Indigeneity and Latinidad. I live Entre Mundos — literally, between worlds — and have spent my life turning that threshold into a methodology, a way of being.

I am a transdisciplinary scholar, writer, educator, and keeper of intuitive healing spaces. My work moves between academia and the grassroots — through research, writing, and Root Work with schools, districts, individuals and communities — always returning to one question: How do we learn to live and create when standing in-between?

Limitless Learning Lab was born from that question — and from a life lived in the in-between.
